New Rako Logistics Centre now operational

The new Rako Logistics Centre in Chlumcany (Czech Rep.) was recently opened, one year since construction work began.

The ceramic tile manufacturer, a member of Lasselsberger Group, now has an approximately 30,000 square metre warehouse capable of holding up to 65,000 pallets of finished products and loading up to 200 trucks per day.

The Chlumcany Logistics Centre will serve Rako’s main export markets in Germany, Austria and other western European countries. Wall tile deliveries will continue to be made from the production facility in Rakovnik.

In parallel with the Logistics Centre, Rako has also constructed a modern new office building for more than 30 employees.
