New Slimcid technology from Torrecid

For the ceramic sector the Torrecid Group has developed Slimcid, an innovative ceramic material that is an ideal solution for architecture and interior design.
Slimcid is a revolutionary technology based on a new ceramic body formulation that allows for a more than 50% reduction in the current thickness of tiles produced using conventional production methods.
Aesthetic quality is an important characteristic for Slimcid. In combination with Inkcid technology, the product is able to faithfully reproduce natural products and to broaden scope for developing new ideas.
Slimcid is complemented by a newly developed fixing system based on adhesive strips (Wandefix) to facilitate installation and allow for application on loadbearing elements. This system enables Slimcid to enter new fields of application for ceramic such as coverings in the fields of building and furniture.
