Novabell makes new investments
The investment involves upgrading all the departments downstream of the kilns, which are being replaced by latest-generation sorting, storage, automated handling and packaging systems. The work is due to be completed by the end of 2006 and will resume after the Christmas break with fired material handling systems.
The company has also experimented with large formats, which have been successfully offered to customers under the EXTRA brand name. This collection consists of the Trevi and Led series. The first comes in six sizes (60x60 cm, 40x60 cm, 20x60 cm, 45x45 cm, 30x30 cm, 15x15 cm and 10x10 cm) and three warm colours with different finishes (natural, edge-ground, lapped/edge-ground and antiqued). The second is a large-format edge-ground white-body wall tile with a light lustred texture and a sophisticated graphic design and colours.
Novabell’s customer focus is demonstrated not just by product research but also by attention to service. For about a year the company has been offering its Virtual Room facility, a service that allows customers to view interiors and spaces clad using the collections they have chosen.
After providing a detailed plan of the zone, the company’s technicians guarantee implementation and delivery of the project within three days. More than 400 projects have been completed since the service was launched.
