Nuova Fima sorting line at Arpa Ceramiche
ARPA Ceramiche, the long-standing Reggio Emilia-based company that produces high-end natural stone and ceramic wall and floor tiles, recently ordered a Nuova Fima sorting line for large tiles to Sacmi.
This latest-generation machine is highly versatile and flexible. It has been specifically designed to handle tile sizes from 300 mm to 900 mm and to meet the needs of a market that is demanding ever-more flexible, efficient solutions which allow manufacturers to quickly switch production from one size to another. On this machine, in fact, size changeovers can be carried out automatically simply by entering a few instructions via the PC keyboard. An extremely high speed tray+wrap packager completes the line.
This order complements the company's recent investment in Flawmaster vision systems, the latest-generation automatic tile inspection system, developed by Surface Inspection, the Sacmi subsidiary specialising in end-of-line solutions.
