Piemme elects new Board of Directors
Industrie Ceramiche Piemme Spa has appointed a new Board of Directors, which will run the company for the next three years.
The well-known company with headquarters in Fiorano (province of Modena, Italy) and various production plants in the ceramic-producing district of Modena and Reggio Emilia, will continue to be headed by Francesco Zironi (who holds the honour of “Cavaliere del Lavoro” for his services to industry) in his capacity as Chairman and Managing Director.
Zironi will be backed up by a second Managing Director, Dario Renato Paganelli, who has been appointed to this important post after 36 years at Piemme in the company’s administration and finance department.
The other members of the board are Gian Piero Del Sante, Innocenzo Cipolletta and Carla Vacchi.
Piemme has also approved and published its consolidated financial statements for 2008, which reveal turnover of almost 90 million euro, representing a rise of 2% on 2007, and net profit broadly in line with the previous year.
