Another international success for Projecta and Gruppo B&T: Porcelanosa, one of the world’s top ceramics brands, has chosen to adopt the Ikon Plus digital printer. The Spanish group’s decision to opt for Projecta’s latest-generation printer confirms the major international players’ trust in the Group’s Made in Italy technologies and further reinforces its global market presence.

Ikon Plus embodies all Projecta’s impressive experience in digital printing applied to ceramics: a machine that stands for quality, reliability and productivity. Designed for tile sizes up to 723 mm wide and with capacity for up to 12 print bars, Ikon Plus offers truly outstanding performance. The electronics are entirely designed by Projecta, while the new SPRINTA operator interface ensures extremely user-friendly navigation. Porcelanosa has chosen Ikon Plus for its ability to guarantee a higher degree of printing precision, the outcome of state-of-the-art mechanics and the use of latest-generation Seiko printheads, which ensure high-quality definition and operating flexibility even on textured surfaces.

Ikon Plus high productivity and impressive proportion of 1st-grade material were crucial in persuading Porcelanosa to install it on its production lines, where it produces sizes up to 60×150 cm. Since the machine provides intensity of colour and perfect precision both in decorative graphics and in applications depositing large amounts of adhesive and materials, its versatility is superior to that of the technologies deployed previously.
