Powergres starts up in China

23/05/07 - Powergres, a young Sassuolo-based company that specialises in the production of high-value porcelain tile, signed a letter of intent a few months ago to set up a joint-venture with one of the leading Chinese tile producers, Kito Ceramic of Foshan. v
The agreement involves the creation of a sales network for the Italian company’s products in China.
Powergres products will initially be distributed through the more than 100 Kito brand stores, after which a network of brand showrooms will be created.

The agreement was announced a few months ago to over 1,000 distribution operators affiliated to Kito Ceramic meeting in Dong Guan. Powergres will begin production at Kito facilities in China of the first eight collections designed in Italy and engineered in China.
The company expects to reach a turnover of about 10 million euro by the end of the year.
