A record Cersaie

03/10/06 - Cersaie 2006, the international exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings which ended on 30 September, was another record edition.
Almost 100,000 (90,949) visitors converged on the Bologna exhibition centre, 2.7% more than at the previous year's show which was held for the first time over five days.

Cersaie also reinforced its international nature with 26,411 foreign visitors, 6.8% up on 2005. This brings the share of foreign visitors to 29%.

The third record is the figure for journalists and information professionals, which passed the 600 mark for the first time (total number of accredited journalists 604).
The increase concerned both Italian journalists, up from 321 in 2005 to 334 (+3.46%) and foreign journalists, up from 259 to 270 (+4.2%).

The next Cersaie will be held in Bologna from 2 to 6 October 2007.
