Relux, from neon to tile
It is a glazed porcelain tile produced using glaze consisting of 40% high-performance glass originating from recycled fluorescent lamps.
Thanks to these innovative characteristics, Relux combines the outstanding qualities of porcelain tile with a low environmental impact and meets the new European directives on waste disposal and integrated product policy.
The production process for the new tile reduces usage of raw materials, transportation and energy consumption and allows for the recycling of high-quality materials and waste disposal.
Polis, which currently produces Relux, also has plans to produce a photovoltaic system for the generation of clean energy for use in the production cycle.
