Roca presents Top Green
At the recent Cevisama in Valencia, Roca presented its latest eco-sustainable tile collections called Top Green produced from more than 80% recycled materials originating from pre-consumer waste as attested by certification obtained from the independent institute Bureau Veritas. Two collections were showcased, Green Earth and Green Urban, the first designed for the most rustic settings, the other for more modern ambiences. The new products contribute to LEED certification for buildings and represent Roca’s latest efforts to safeguard the environment. Since 1999, Roca Grupo has been adopting lean manufacturing methods in all its factories with a view to minimising and ultimately eliminating waste.
In addition to LEED certification, Roca’s products also meet ISO 14021 environmental standards and the product lifecycle criteria established by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). The focus on eco-sustainability concerns all the EMAS certified production departments, procurement and energy saving, reduction in waste, the use of recyclable Europallets and separate waste collection in all offices.
