Russia and Ukraine amongst the most dynamic markets for BMR
Italian-made technology from BMR continues to gain market share in both countries thanks to the company’s know-how, proven technological quality and customer care
The Scandiano, Italy-based company BMR has been producing end-of-line ceramic machinery and technology for over fifty years and is looking with interest at the development opportunities offered by Russia and Ukraine, two expanding markets where it is already a trusted partner for local producers. BMR’s longstanding Russian customers include Kerama Marazzi, Unitile and Grani Taganaya.
In this country, where the majority of production is sold on the domestic market, the biggest trends are glazed and full-body porcelain stoneware tiles with a lapped finish produced in both traditional sizes and the latest large formats. BMR has also been successfully meeting the needs of new ceramic tile producers in Ukraine, an expanding market where domestic production is growing and steadily replacing imports. Plants supplied by BMR for polishing, lapping, squaring and surface treatment are already in operation in the factories of leading producers such as Kharkiv Tile Plant, Epicentr K, Atem and Intercerama.
Here too production consists of traditional tile sizes alongside lapped, glazed and technical porcelain stoneware slabs.
