Russtiles orders new sanitaryware production plant

03/05/04 - Last December, Garoll signed a major contract with Russtiles (an important Russian company that operates in the ceramic tile sector) for the construction of a new complete modern plant for sanitaryware production.

The factory, which will be built in the city of Noginsk 60 km from Moscow, is designed to produce 500,000 pieces/year.
The supply contract includes the creation of a complete laboratory for tests on bodies and glazes; an AP-SR 1 unit for the high-pressure production of WCs with stick-on rims; an HPC-201/170 unit for the high-pressure production of washbasins, pedestals and cisterns; LEM and LVA lines for low-pressure casting of open-rim WCs with inserts and washbasins.

The order is completed by a chamber dryer, two robotised glazing lines, one 67 metre long tunnel kiln and one 4-car intermittent kiln for product re-firing. Garoll and Russtiles are looking to collaborate again in the future with a plan to double the existing plants.
