Sacmi organises tableware conference

03/05/06 - The second international conference on the tableware market and new sector technologies will be held during Ceramitec in Munich.
It is being organised by the Sacmi Group’s German brands Sama and Riedhammer and the Italian firm Gaiotto.
The event “International Tableware Conference: Market Trends & New Technologies” is scheduled for 15 May at 1.30 p.m. at Paulaner am Nockherberg.

The general manager of the RAK Group, the facility director of Tognana Porcellane, the general manager of Porcellane Richard Ginori and the production manager of Porcelanas de Costa Verde SA will describe their experiences in the field of new technologies and new production concepts.
Gerard Walter, lecturer at the Technical University in Freiberg, will discuss the method for determining heat transfer in tunnel kilns, while the sales director of the French firm Optomachines will talk on the theme of automatic defect selection.
There will then be a roundtable discussion moderated by Hubertus Reh, former editor in chief of the specialist German magazine CFI.
The events will be rounded off by a gala evening and show.
