Sacmi supplies line to Fanaloza in Chile
Sacmi recently supplied a new line with a capacity of a million pieces per year to Fanaloza, a sanitaryware manufacturer based in Penco, southern Chile, and a member of the Cisa Group. An intermittent kiln, a tunnel kiln and three AVE 040 machines for the production of WCs with stuck-on rims were installed and started up at the South American factory. Fanaloza also now has an ALS 150 L machine for the production of washbasins and pedestals and four robotic glazing lines, including three for WCs, washbasins and pedestals – effectively the complete range of articles – and one specialised in one-piece glazing.
The installation in the city of Penco is the largest project completed in South America in the last five years.
