Sitec technology for the GranitiFiandre large formats

The new storage, batching and powder feed plant supplied by Sitec Technology (Fiorano Modenese, Italy) to the GranitiFiandre plant dedicated to the production of large ceramic slabs will be tested at the end of the summer.

With the imminent start-up of a second line for very large formats, the well-known Italian ceramic group has placed an order with Sitec for expansion of the raw material management plant previously supplied, which will now serve both the pressing lines.

The Sitec plant starts from a storage capacity of 60 silos, which feed the presses via several lines. The system is designed to provide maximum production flexibility, thanks also to the possibility of extracting the powder from any silo and sending it to any press.
