Siti - B&T per CN Ceramic

SITI - B&T Group has signed a major contract with CN Ceramic, a leading Chinese curtain wall manufacturer, that will enable CN to make use of the expertise and technology offered by SITI - B&T Group in the extruded materials sector.

The supply contract includes the installation of a 2850/36.79 five-channel dryer and a 2350/130.90 single-channel roller kiln complete with pre-kiln. Both lines are specially designed for the production of extruded curtain wall elements. The line also includes a special cutting system for large format tiles and an automatic storage and handling plant with third-generation laser-guided vehicles.

The plant is designed for the production of large sizes, from 600x1200 mm and 600x1500 mm up to a maxi mum of 900x1800 mm. The plant is due to start up by the autumn of 2010. The CN Group is renowned for the quality of its products and for its strong focus on materials development which has reinforced the concept of "Created in China" rather than "Made in China".
