At Cevisama 2020, SITI B&T Group presented the world premiere of the first exclusive collection of architectural surfaces designed by Automobili Lamborghini. The official launch of the new series took place during a Dinner Party organised on 5 February at the prestigious Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, the architectural symbol of the Comunitat Valenciana. The evening was attended by participants from all over the world, who had the chance to admire the innovative slabs from the Automobili Lamborghini Surfaces Collection, which were also displayed on the Digital Design stand during Cevisama.
The collection is a new line of extra-large “mineral stone” slabs with outstanding technical and mechanical properties, unique aesthetic solutions and unlimited scope for customisation. The materials stand out in particular for their elegant style and decisive character, their sleek lines and a design based on distinctive Lamborghini stylistic elements such as the hexagon.
The new surfaces were developed thanks to intensive R&D work carried out by SITI B&T Group together with leading partners in the world of luxury home living: the Italian company Luxe, responsible for managing the Automobili Lamborghini Surfaces brand, and Best Surface, the Spanish company authorised to produce the Surfaces Collection and already well known for its Idylium brand (mineral stone for worktops and latest generation interior and exterior tiles).
At the Best Surface facility in Castellón, SITI B&T Group has installed its latest technological solutions including the innovative Supera® pressing system, thereby creating a cutting-edge turnkey plant for the production of large mineral stone sizes. Welcoming guests to the evening event, the Formigine-based group’s CEO Fabio Tarozzi emphasised the crucial role played by the group’s companies in developing the new slabs thanks to their technological and aesthetic know-how. In particular, he singled out the important creative contribution made by Digital Design, a company specialising in customised graphic solutions capable of bringing added value and uniqueness to each individual project.
