Solidarity at Florim continues in 2010
The commendable efforts of the Florim executives who in February 2009 chose to assign 10% of their salary to a solidarity fund for the benefit of their colleagues worst affected by reductions in working hours (under the terms of the Wages Guarantee Fund) will be maintained for the whole of 2010.
The project, supported by the company which has offered to supplement the resources of the fund to bring it to a total of 500,000 euro, involves disbursements on a four-monthly basis to Florim employees who have spent at least 60% of their monthly working hours temporarily laid off under the terms of the Wages Guarantee Fund.
This initiative remains unique within the ceramic sector and demonstrates the strong sense of social responsibility of both the executives and the company towards the families in greatest difficulty
