Strong attendance at Superstudio Più - FuoriSalone 2011

At FuoriSalone 2011, the event devoted to raising the profile of up-and-coming young designers entitled Superstudio Più has been divided into three separate initiatives:
- Temporary Museum for New Design (featuring, amongst others: Tagina with “LifeCycle” produced in cooperation with Simone Micheli and Marco Tortioli Ricci; Inax with Toshiyuki Kita’s proposal of a patented solution for transforming water into a solid washing foam)
- Innovation/Imagination
- Home&Spa Design (featuring, amongst others: Piemme, MosaicoDigitale, Xtra, Hatria).

These three major events showcased prestigious brands (total of 134 exhibitors) and designers, and attracted a total attendance on a par with the previous edition (112,000, including 70% professionals and a 15% increase in international visitors).
Attendees had the opportunity to admire the light/sound/video installation from Canon, the giant sculpture lamps from Foscarini, the anthropomorphic sculptures made up of screens from Samsung, the holograms from Cristalplant and the installation created by carmaker Mini with its cars suspended at a height of 20 metres from the ground.

This edition highlights not just a focus on technology but also a selection of innovative products: a house with external concrete walls that become pixels (Concrete Mission, produced by Magnetti Spa to a project by designer Ronen Joseph, for which Mapei supplied Keraflex Maxi to fix the concrete blocks to the walls), the experimental objects in the Swedish pavilion, the modular walls and objects made of paper and cardboard, and the Italian flag reinterpreted by Denis Santachiara.
