Surfaces Group expands with the acquisition of Luna Abrasivi
The result is a group with sales of 120 million euro in the field of diamond tools and consumer goods for the finishing of ceramic, granite, marble and agglomerate
On 29 October, Surfaces Group announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Luna Abrasivi (Vezzano Ligure, La Spezia), for the last 40 years one of the world’s leading producers of tools and chemical products for industrial machining and finishing of ceramic, granite, marble and agglomerate materials with a strong presence in all the main international markets.
This strategic operation enables the Surfaces group to strengthen its world leadership in the field of diamond tools and consumer goods for finishing operations. The group now has 500 employees, 6 production and assembly sites in Italy (Cenate Sotto (BG), Thiene (VI), Baldichieri d’Asti (AT), Domodossola (VB), Monteveglio (BO) and Vezzano Ligure (SP)), 4 abroad (USA, Brazil, Turkey and India), 10 sales branches, more than 1,000 customers and combined sales of more than 120 million euros in 2018.
