Surfaces Technological Abrasives acquires NoCoat
NoCoat, a chemical company based in Monteveglio (Bologna) recognised as the market leader in the field of protective surface and ceramic tile treatments and creator of the Supergloss system, is joining the Surfaces group.
With this acquisition, Surfaces completes its range of consumables for finishing processes in the ceramic industry and will now be able to offer a complete service in terms of product development and technical support for the end-of-line stage. Cutting, squaring, honing, polishing and protective treatments are the processes for which the group supplies entirely Italian-made high-end products through its brands Adi, Surfaces, A.S. Tools and Nocoat.
The Nocoat facility, which now joins those of Surfaces (Cenate Sotto, Bergamo) and Adi (Thiene, Vicenza), will be expanded and set aside entirely for the production of surface treatment products, including those of the A.S. Tools brand.
The Nocoat range, previously distributed in export markets by Metco, will be sold by the distribution and technical support network of Surfaces, which has its own branches in Spain, Portugal, Poland, Russia, USA, Brazil and Turkey and local distributors in other countries including Mexico and Indonesia.
