System Ceramics supplies technologies for Laminam's new investment projects
The two Superfast presses and a 12-bar Creadigit Infinity 2.1 digital printer have been successfully started up at the Borgo Val di Taro facility
Building on the longstanding partnership between the two companies, System Ceramics has supplied crucial pressing and decoration technologies for the doubling of the Laminam production site in Borgo Val di Taro (Parma) and for the expansion project currently underway at the Laminam plant in Dobrino, Russia.
For the second line opened on 5 November in Borgo Val di Taro, System Ceramics supplied the two presses, a Superfast 19000 and a Superfast 30000, and the 12-bar Creadigit Infinity 2.1 digital decoration line.
The Superfast mouldless presses are customised to Laminam’s specific requirements and are capable of producing large, thin slabs in sizes up to 1600x3200 mm while guaranteeing the highest levels of performance in terms of both sustainability and optimisation of the shaping process.
The digital decoration line also stands out for its low environmental impact thanks to its ability to reduce water and material consumption. In addition, the printer chosen by Laminam, a Creadigit Infinity 2.1 configured with 12 bars, represents the latest evolution in digital decoration and stands out for its superior computing power, high flexibility and the possibility of mounting different models of printheads on the various bars. The extremely high printing quality and the versatility of the graphic effects are essential for ensuring the highest levels of creativity and aesthetic quality required by a premium brand like Laminam.
