Tesany chooses Sacmi for its new body preparation plant
Ceramica Tesany, part of the Spanish group STN, has awarded Sacmi the contract to supply key machinery for its new grinding and spray-drying plant in Moncófar (Castellón)
Ceramica Tesany, a company belonging to the Spanish group STN, has commissioned Sacmi to supply the main machinery for its new spray drying plant devoted entirely to body preparation to be built alongside Tesany’s current production site in Moncófar (Castellón).
With a planned four step investment, Tesany is set to become one of the largest and most modern ceramic body preparation facilities in the world..
The first step in the project centres around the supply of two MMC 180 continuous modular mills and an ATM 250 spray dryer, which join the four Sacmi mills and two spray dryers already in operation at the facility of Azulmed, also part of the STN Group.
With this new supply contract, Sacmi reaffirms its role as a key technology partner for the Castellón ceramic district, where Sacmi Iberica acts as the group’s point of reference for customer support throughout Spain.
