Todagres converts totally to porcelain tile
According to declarations made by the company’s general manager Andoni Pineta to the Spanish newspaper Expansion, Todagres’ production will from now on consist of 85% through-bodied porcelain tile and 15% glazed porcelain tile.
The company also recently unveiled a business plan to be implemented by 2011 with the goal of reaching a cash flow of 5 million euro compared to last year’s 2.97 million euro and the 4.94 million euro EBITDA reported the end of 2006.
The company’s objectives also include boosting exports, particularly in European markets, with a view to reaching a share of 30% of total turnover compared to the current 22%.
To achieve these goals, Todagres is planning to invest approximately 6 million euro in adapting its production plant while increasing the production of spray-dried body, focusing greater attention on environmental issues and developing new production technology designed together with the Italian technology supplier. The products aimed at the high market segment will be presented at next year’s Cevisama.
