TosiLab, a new ceramic creativity centre
The historic Sassuolo-based company Serigrafica Tosi has now been transformed into TosiLab, a groundbreaking ceramic experimentation and design centre. This laboratory of ideas offers outstanding opportunities to young designers, who can start out on their professional careers in the new centre with the support of industry experts and professionals.
The primary goal of the new centre is to support customers in their research efforts through tailored projects capable of anticipating trends in the ceramic market.
The ambitious project is backed by various restyling operations that symbolise the company’s process of growth and evolution.
The architectural renovation work on the external façades of the headquarters in Via Falzarego reflects the new image of TosiLab, creating an industrial presence with a strong visual impact along the new TosiStreet, a city road devoted to creativity and innovative ideas.
Grey, the colour chosen for TosiStreet, is also the corporate colour while the graphic design of the enormous street numbers on the external façade makes explicit reference to the company’s mission.
The logo is simplified and transformed from Serigrafica Tosi to TosiLab. The word TOSI is taken from the original brand name and remains black, maintaining a strong connection with the company’s history. For LAB the colour grey was chosen to identify the new concept of the experimentation centre.
The company’s longstanding focus on research was further strengthened last year when it joined the System Group, allowing it to increase the pace of its technological and creative development.
