Tyrolit Vincent opens new US distribution centre

Tyrolit Vincent (Thiene, Italy) and the US firms Tyrolit North America Inc. and Radiac Abrasives (Oswego, Illinois), all of which belong to the Tyrolit Group, will be operating more closely to meet growing demand in the US ceramic industry.

A new area in the Oswego diamond tool distribution warehouse was opened in January 2017 to guarantee extensive stocks of products for different ceramic industry applications. The new logistics centre receives weekly supplies from Italy to ensure faster deliveries of a complete range of tools to the US market as well as an improved service.

Tyrolit is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of abrasive tools for calibration, polishing, cutting, profiling, boring and dressing and a supplier of machinery and solutions for the construction industry. The Group is based in Austria and has more than 4,400 employees at 29 production facilities in 12 countries worldwide.

Radiac is a leading manufacturer of abrasives in North America with a history dating back more than a century. It has been part of the Tyrolit Group since 2009.
