Wendel Ibérica becomes Kerafrit
The new name is intended to reflect the company’s ceramic activities and international scope.
Wendel Email Ibérica was founded in 1997 through an agreement between two families, the German family Wendel which produces frits for metals and the Spanish family Benavent, owner of the Keraben ceramic group.
The company currently has a turnover of 13 million euro, 55% of which is generated by exports. Kerafrit’s main markets are Europe (particularly Germany, Portugal Russia and Eastern Europe), North Africa (Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia), Central America, Iran, Syria and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia).
