Automatic tile inspection machine from Surface Inspection13/03/2003 - Surface Inspection, world leader in the development and supply of systems for the automatic inspection of ceramic tiles, has improved its products. Automatic inspection of rotary gravure printing on ceramic tiles is now available with the Flawmaster automatic tile inspection machine from Surface Inspection. Decoration can be from any part of the drum allowing tile patterns to appear as if they have been randomly decorated. It is possible to inspect this type of decoration for missing print, registration and shade from either single or multiple rollers.
It is also possible to inspect applications using two print lanes through the decoration stage. With this new software the tile may be turned after it has been decorated and the Flawmaster will still perform automatic inspection.
Suitable for both fall and floor tiles, Surface inspection's systems are used by many of the world's leading tile manufacturers to inspect tiles from 10x10 cm to 60x90 cm, for mechanical, decoration and glaze defects, as well as classifying by shade up to a rate of 500mq/hour.
