MagFace System: The Advantages of Magnetic Dry Technology
MagFace is a patented system for the magnetic dry installation of all types of surface coverings, which can be licensed to all surface manufacturers.

The MagFace System is the only patented and certified installation system by the Ceramic Center of Bologna and TCNA (EU patent no. EP3349982 B1, USA patent no. US 11,285,699 B2, Mexico no. 396131, China CN 108290375 B).
It represents an innovation in dry installation for ceramic floors. Thanks to its proprietary, patented magnetic technology, ceramic tiles up to 160 x 320 cm and 20 mm thickness are firmly fixed to the MagFace base without the use of adhesives or mortars, offering numerous advantages over floating or interlocking installations.
- Superior Stability and Durability: The magnetic base ensures stable and impact-resistant installation. Tiles stay fixed, even in high-traffic areas. The system has obtained Heavy Duty certification from the Robinson Test (ASTM C627-10) for load resistance and has a value > 55 for impact resistance (ISO EN 10545-5), making it ideal for commercial and high-traffic environments.
- Quick and Easy Installation: Unlike other systems, MagFace allows installation without the need for adhesives, powders, or odors. The floor is immediately walkable with instant usability, speeding up the installation process to 20 sqm per hour, significantly reducing closure times for commercial spaces and public areas.
- Flexibility and Easy Maintenance: Tiles can be easily removed without damaging the subfloor. In case of maintenance or style changes, tiles can be quickly replaced, reducing costs and inconvenience.
- Moisture Insulation – Compatible with Heating and Cooling Systems: The system includes an insulating base that enhances moisture insulation, making it ideal for bathrooms or areas with rising moisture. Thanks to its composition, it is also ideal for environments with underfloor heating systems.
- Sustainability and Circular Economy: MagFace is environmentally friendly, as it does not use chemical adhesives or toxic materials, reducing environmental impact and improving indoor air quality. Additionally, tiles with integrated MagFace can be reused, preventing waste and contributing to the creation of a circular economy.
- Compatibility with Heated Floors: MagFace technology is compatible with underfloor heating systems, ensuring uniform heat distribution without compromising efficiency.
- Certified for Wall Installation: Vertical installation is certified and guaranteed by the Spit Test for vertical loads of up to 110 kg/m² of weight.
- Certified Free from VOCs and Formaldehyde: Compliant with the GB18582-2020 regulation.
- Certified Free from Harmful Magnetic Fields: It does not interfere with instruments and is safe for pacemaker users in compliance with Directive 2013/35/EU (with low emissions < 0.5 mT).
- Removable and Non-Toxic Joints: The system includes MagFiller, a non-toxic hybrid sealant in 12 different colors, which ensures flexibility in the joints and can be removed without breaking.
