34th Cerambath sees good results
More than 800 exhibitors and 191,000 visitors took part in China’s largest ceramic and bathroom show.
The 34th Cerambath, the most important Chinese exhibition of ceramic and bathroom furnishings, was held in Foshan from 18 to 21 October. More than 800 brands were present, including a number of foreign exhibitors from Italy, USA, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Malaysia, India and South Korea.
The total number of visitors rose by 1.3% with respect to the previous edition of the show to 191,589, 90.8% of whom where Chinese buyers. The number of international visitors fell by 11% to 17,626, most of whom were from Asia (67.4% of the total), followed by Europeans (13%), Africans (8%) and South Americans (5%). The best represented countries were India, Pakistan, South Korea, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, USA, Singapore, UAE, Sri Lanka, UK and Japan.
Distributors made up the largest group of buyers (53%), while the numbers of architects and interior designers continued to increase (27%), followed by import-export companies (13%) and real estate developers (3%).
The next edition of Cerambath will be held in Foshan from 18 to 21 April 2020.
