Air Power Group's Industry 4.0 technologies prove a big success
Growth in demand for the Total Process Control 4.0 system.
In 2019, Air Power Group will be celebrating its first 35 years of activity in the field of ceramic glazing plants, an achievement that owes much to the group’s R&D efforts in the field of production processes and to its constantly upgraded, cutting-edge technologies.
One of these is its flagship Total Process Control 4.0 system, which supervises the entire production process from the raw materials preparation machinery through to the tile transport and handling line and the glaze application machines.
Air Power’s strong position in international markets is confirmed by the approximately 10 million euros of orders it has already received for the first half of 2019 and by the significant interest shown by customers during the last Tecnargilla.
Total Process Control 4.0 enables operators to supervise all production variables (energy consumption, raw materials, etc.) as well as providing productivity statistics and performing production simulation. It reduces set-up, production change and machine washing times, errors and machine stoppages for scheduled maintenance, production rejects and waste raw materials.
