BMR a market leader in Mexico
BMR has further strengthened its leadership in Mexico with major new orders from the country’s top ceramic companies.
A number of leading Mexican ceramic manufacturers recently placed orders for new dry machining lines from BMR, confirming the Italian company as a key supplier of ceramic surface finishing plants.
Following the successful adoption of two wet squaring lines and a lapping line with two 12-head Leviga machines and a Top Coat line, the Chihuahua-based tile producer Interceramic has now installed a Top Squadra Dry 12/1 dry cutting and squaring line for porcelain stoneware in a maximum size of 1200x1200 mm.
Daltile Mexico has ordered two lines, a Squadra Dry 9/1 for its Large Unit factory and a Top Squadra Dry 12/1 for its Mini Pisos factory, both capable of handling a maximum size of 600x1200 mm.
Vitromex has likewise chosen BMR dry technology for its production sites, with four Top Squadra Dry 12/1 dry cutting and squaring lines due to begin operation at the San Luis Potosí facility (two for the 1200x1200 mm size and two for 1200x1800 mm, the latter in conjunction with a lapping line with Top Coat treatment). At its factory in Guanajuato, Vitromex has also installed a Squadra Dry 9/1 line and a Diavision dimensional control system for red body tiles in a maximum size of 600x1200 mm.
Lastly, Nitropiso (San Luis Potosí) has adopted a Squadra Dry 12/1 dry cutting and squaring line for a maximum size of 600x1200 mm.
