Ceramifor gains ISO 9001 certification

Ceramifor, a Portuguese company specialising in the design and construction of kilns for the ceramic industry, was granted ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification by TÜV Rheinland in April this year. The certification covers the manufacture, repair, assembly and commissioning, maintenance and sale of thermal processing equipment.

Founded in 2011 through the acquisition of the former Fornoceramica, Ceramifor boasts thirty years of experience and more than 5,000 kilns supplied worldwide. Recent orders include the supply of three kilns to a major sanitaryware supplier in Algeria and a firing system to the biggest UK tableware manufacturer.

The company, led by Managing Director Bruno Brás, is taking part in this year's Tecnargilla in Rimini (22-26 September) in hall C3, stand 109.
