CMF caters for extra-large sizes
In July this year, CMF Technology of Pavullo (Modena) completed testing of the first Silktile CR dry satin finishing machine designed to be installed in a factory producing large 1600x4800 mm ceramic sheets.
Supplied in a four-head version designed to operate with various types of abrasives, the machine will be used for dry satin finishing of digitally decorated porcelain sheets in conventional or extra-large thicknesses.
This prestigious order further consolidates the success of Silktile CR in both the domestic Italian and international markets over the last twelve months.
One of the latest installations to have been made in the Sassuolo ceramic cluster was completed in August in the Florim group's facility in Fiorano Modenese and consisted of the first Silktile CR three-head dry satin finishing machine designed for treating high-value large-format porcelain. By using this machine with specific settings, Florim will be able to give a unique surface finish to its products.
