Countdown to Batimat Russia
Batimat Russia 2017 will be back at the Crocus Expo international exhibition centre in Moscow from 28 to 31 March. The show will host the leading Russian ceramic tile and sanitaryware manufacturers, including Kerama Marazzi, Estima, Della, Italon (Concorde Group), Lasselsberger, Unitile, Uralski Granit and the Belarusian firm Keramin, as well as leading international bathroom furnishing brands such as Cersanit, Duravit, Villeroy & Boch and Hansgrohe. Italian and Spanish tile manufacturers will also be well represented, confirming the importance of the Russian market in spite of the sharp drop in exports from both countries in recent years.
The Italian pavilion organised by Ceramics of Italy will accommodate around 15 of the best known Italian brands, while 18 Spanish companies will be present in an area of 762 square metres in the Tile of Spain pavilion.
As always, pavilion 2 hall 6 will host the Technoceramica section devoted to machinery and raw materials for the ceramic industry. Here Italian companies will as usual make up the largest group. Alongside the trade association ACIMAC, the companies present will include machinery and equipment manufacturers Air Power, BMR, Cami, Certech, CMF, ICF Welko, LB, Martinelli, Mectiles, Refrattari Speciali, Sacmi, Setec, SITI B&T Group, Surfaces Technological Abrasives, System, Tecnodiamant and Tecnoferrari, as well as glaze and colour producers Colorobbia, Lamberti, Esmalglass, Inco and Smaltochimica. Italian companies operating in the field of marble machining Ferrari & Cigarini, Tyrolit Vincent, Luna Abrasivi and Tecnema will also be present. At the Acimac stand visitors can pick up a free copy of the special issue in Russian language of the well-known international magazine Ceramic World Review.
By expanding the exhibition in other product sectors linked to home design (interior finishings, doors and windows, construction systems, passive house, etc.), the organisers are expecting to see a further improvement on the record attendance of 2016 when Batimat Russia attracted 86,739 visitors, including distributors, architects, builders and interior designers.
