Expo Revestir 2017: new record of visitors

Expo Revestir, held from March 7th to 10th, 2017, at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, ended with a record visitation of more than 68 thousand visitors, representing a growth of 8.7% compared to the 2016 edition.

According to Antonio Carlos Kieling, president of Expo Revestir and superintendent of Anface - "After 15 years, the fair is consolidated as the main opportunity to boost new business, especially exports in the sector". Lauro Andrade Filho, general director of events, says that: "This edition was surprising by the record of public, unprecedented content and inspirational releases".

The fair hosted more than 240 exhibitors in the 40,000 square metre exhibition space, distributed in seven pavilions, the main releases in the segments of ceramics for coverings, sanitary ware, metals for kitchen and bathroom, ornamental stones, mosaics, wood, laminates, cement, vitreous and other solutions for architectural projects and interior design. Besides the main national brands, the event features the international presence of exhibitors from Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Spain, the United States, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and the Czech Republic.

With the objective of generating business and relations with the international market, buyers form 24 countries were invited to the fair. As a joint event to the fair, the International Forum of Architecture and Construction received more than 3.5 thousand highly qualified professionals who attended the lectures of great national and international names. The last day of the 15th Expo Revestir also discussed relevant issues for the ceramic sector during Tecnargilla Brasil, which was curated by Professor Anselmo Boschi.

The next edition is confirmed for March 6th to 9th, 2018.
