Gmm Group contributes to energy efficiency at Ceramiche Mariner
Ceramiche Mariner has signed a maintenance service contract with Gmm Group aimed at identifying and remedying compressed air leaks at its facility in Roteglia.
As part of its longstanding commitment to the research and development of innovative technologies to help companies improve their production and energy efficiency, the Gmm Group boasts strong synergies between its subsidiaries and major partnerships with companies that share its mission.
One of these is Festo, a leading company in the industrial automation and pneumatics sector and a client of Gmm Group for more than 20 years with which it has launched a leakage search and mitigation project for various production processes.
One of the Italian ceramic companies that have decided to undertake a process of leakage mitigation based on the service offered by the Gmm Group is Ceramiche Mariner of Castellarano (Reggio Emilia), a leading industry player which is particularly attentive to issues of production innovation and sustainability.
Specifically, Mariner has implemented a maintenance service for its Roteglia facilities aimed at identifying and remedying compressed air leaks, well known to be one of the main causes of rising costs and consequent energy wastage on production lines. On completion of the service activities, an energy audit based on ROI schemes will be carried out to determine the investment’s impact and payback time.
