Groupe Bouras increases output
Groupe Bouras, a major Algerian brick and tile manufacturer, has adopted Manfredini & Schianchi dry technology with a view to increasing its output and improving the quality of its products.
Two plants equipped with the latest Drytech-Heavy Clay milling technologies will start up production over the next few months. The first, which will produce bricks, blocks and hollow blocks of various shapes and sizes, consists of 5 Maxi-P.I.G.-HD mills with incorporated heating system, and a set of high-efficiency MS sieves with heating, capable of producing around 40 tons/hour of raw materials.
The second plant will serve the new line for ventilated facades and trim pieces and will have a daily output of 60 tons. The plant in question is served by a P.I.G./A hammer mill and an MS-3/120 pendular mill, while the humidification stage uses the MS2000 system with automatic water control. A system is also provided for recovering fired waste and returning it to the milling process.
The waste is milled by the Slammer mill equipped with an adequate lining and wear-resistant grinding components.
