Inco modernises its laboratory
Inco Industria Colori is refurbishing the laboratories at its headquarters in Pavullo to improve its research activities and ensure increasingly rigorous quality control.
Inco, a longstanding Italian ceramic glaze and colour producer based in Pavullo (Modena), has recently modernised its research and quality control laboratory and acquired state-of-the-art instrumentation allowing for in-depth study of all the technical and scientific parameters of products. The new instruments include an XRF spectrophotometer, an XRD diffractometer, a laser granulometer (both water- and solvent-based), a rheometer, a rotational and a capillary viscometer, a tensiometer, a pH meter, a conductivity meter, a microscope and a thermogravimeter.
This new equipment will enable Inco to further improve its research activities and ensure increasingly rigorous quality control as part of its longstanding commitment to the performance and high level of customisation of its products, which are tailored to the specific needs of its customers.
The company has a number of different laboratories devoted to traditional and digital technology and covering various areas of specialisation. In addition to new product R&D, the laboratory team is also responsible for pre-shipment and production control activities (developing products together with the customer prior to production and control of outgoing product quality), technical sales and after-sales support, and even graphic assistance (from choosing graphic designs to support with colour profiling and management).
Inco is a global company with a number of international production and distribution facilities and serves customers in more than 35 countries worldwide.
