Levantina renews its partnership with System Ceramics

For its new facility in Nules (Castellón), Levantina Techlam has continued its long-standing partnership with System Ceramics for material forming and decoration technologies.

The new Levantina Techlam facility in Nules (Castellón) marks a new chapter in the successful collaboration between the Spanish company Levantina and System Ceramics (a Coesia Group company) that was initiated back in 2007. Seventeen years ago, the leading Spanish natural stone group entered the sintered stone slab segment with the installation of what was then called the Lamgea ceramic press, the forerunner of today’s Superfast. Since then, the two companies have continued to collaborate. For its Nules facility, Levantina chose System Ceramics’ most innovative technologies that deliver excellent results in terms of productivity and quality.

Specifically, the investment includes a Superfast mouldless ceramic press, which can achieve an output of up to 24,000 square metres per day while reducing energy consumption and raw material waste. Downstream of the press are the two Creadigit Infinity 2.1 digital printers, which stand out for their flexibility, adaptability and qualitative excellence. They are based on the latest-generation CoreXpress platform, which processes and manages information in real time to ensure extremely high-quality image reproduction on the ceramic surface, and are combined with the Genya tracking system. System Ceramics also supplied the vision control and ceramic tile high-bay storage systems inside the factory.
