Marcheluzzo Ceramics becomes Marcheluzzo S.p.A. and increases its share capital
Marcheluzzo S.p.A. is today the only official brand name on the market and will establish a coordinated brand image across all its communication channels.
Last August saw the official conclusion of the operation formalising the change of name and transformation of the Vicenza-based company into a joint stock company (S.p.A.), now called Marcheluzzo S.p.A. This natural growth step became more essential than ever following the acquisition of Marcheluzzo Impianti in late 2019. At the same time, an increase in share capital to 1 million euros was also approved.
But as CEO Paolo Marcheluzzo explains, the decision also has ethical connotations. “In particular, we wanted to send out a signal of transparency and corporate solidity to all stakeholders, especially those working in the brick and tile industry. We were also driven by the need for order and clarity: Marcheluzzo S.p.A. is today the only official brand name on the market.”
In parallel with the corporate transformation, and in keeping with the strategic development plan, Marcheluzzo S.p.A. will establish an effective coordinated brand image across all its communication channels. “We felt a real need to strengthen our corporate identity with a brand that would retain its historical roots while being synonymous with movement and evolution,” added Paolo Marcheluzzo.
This evolution goes hand in hand with the technological innovation rooted in the company’s history, a goal that Marcheluzzo S.p.A will now be able to pursue with greater resources and potential across its various business sectors, from heavy clay to ceramics and food. “We have reinforced our foundations because, just as in the construction of a building, strengthening the foundations allows new floors to be built. I hope that this commitment on our part will be seen as a “warranty certificate” by all customers who will place their trust in us and support us in the coming years.”
