New orders for LB's Easy Color Boost

LB’s dry colouring system has been chosen by Cerrad in Poland and by National Industries Ceramics in Kuwait

Fiorano Modenese-based company LB recently signed two major supply agreements for its internationally patented Easy Color Boost dry colouring system.

The first was with Polish company Cerrad, which had already chosen LB technology for its complete porcelain slab production plant and is due to start up its second Easy Color Boost in early 2021 to feed two presses for large size tile production.

Between late 2020 and early 2021, Easy Color Boost will also be installed in the facility of National Industries Ceramics, a leading Kuwaiti ceramic tile producer. This is the company’s first supply contract from LB, which it chose for the advantages of its technology compared to traditional colouring systems, particularly low mechanical stress, improved colour performance and energy saving.

Easy Color Boost represents a major step forward with respect to current dry colouring processes as it eliminates the defects of existing systems and improves the distribution of colouring oxide and homogenisation of the finished product, even in the case of multi-pigment colouring.
