Preparations under way for Tecna 2024
200 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation eight months before the show, which will be held in Rimini from 24 to 27 September.
Tecna, the International Exhibition of Technologies and Supplies for Surfaces, will be back in the Rimini Expo Centre from 24 to 27 September this year.
With eight months to go before the biennial show opens its doors, it once again promises to be a must-attend event for professionals and buyers eager to discover the latest innovations in the world of surfaces, particularly ceramic tiles. The exhibition website www.tecnaexpo.com provides a constantly updated list of exhibitors, with no fewer than 200 having confirmed their participation by the beginning of January. The show’s enormous international appeal is demonstrated by the fact that 38% of registered exhibitors are from outside Italy, with the top five represented foreign countries being China, Spain, Turkey, India and Germany.
Like the last edition of the show held in 2022, Tecna 2024 will occupy 12 halls accessible through two entrances and will once again feature three thematic sections:
- Tecna Future Lab (focusing on innovations in digitalisation, sustainability and logistics),
- Decortech (technologies for surface decoration and design)
- Finishing (finishing and treatment technologies).
As revealed by the event organisers, IEG and Acimac, the central theme of Tecna 2024 will be artificial intelligence. The show’s inaugural conference will explore some of the potential applications of this transformative new technology in the manufacturing industry.
