Sacmi Polska opens in PolandImola, 11 September 2002 - Sacmi's new branch at Tomasz�w Maz, Poland is now fully operational. The new facility is able to provide a rapid spare parts service for Sacmi machines and further underlines the importance that the Imola-based group places in the Polish market. Along with a large warehouse, the branch also has offices where offers can be drawn up using a computer link to Sacmi Imola's central system. This assures a continuous interchange of information such as warehouse stock. The person in charge of Sacmi Polska is Barbara Przetakiewicz. Medium-term objectives include extending customer services by providing a local point of contact for technical support. This important, concrete operation will allow Sacmi to consolidate and strengthen its relations with the Polish ceramic industry. It will also bring an increase in efficiency in anticipation of Poland's future admission to the European Community.
