T-White: brand new for Tecnargilla 2016, the new section dedicated entirely to sanitaryware and tableware
Set to take place in Rimini from 26 to 30 September, Tecnargilla 2016 will be the 25th edition of this ceramics industry event, and this year's exhibition will feature a new section, identified with the T-White logo, dedicated to equipment and systems for the production of ceramic sanitaryware and tableware.
The exhibition will see the participation of major sector names, from countries such as Turkey, Portugal, Germany, India and Italy. It will provide a premium global showcase for the latest innovations from Italian and international producers alike.
Innovation in the sanitaryware sector is increasing, making the sector itself a much more prominent market. The aim, here, is to design and develop systems with a high level of automation, capable of yielding better quality products, to meet the needs of the most discerning customers.
According to recent analysis by the Acimac research centre, global sanitaryware production grew by 61.3% from 216.6 to 349.3 million units in the ten years from 2004 - 2014, with an annual growth rate of 4.9%.
International exports doubled, increasing from 63.4 million units in 2004 to 127 million units in 2014. The majority of production (49.2%) is concentrated in Asia, with China now the biggest international manufacturer. China is followed by the European Union, which produces 12% of the total, South America with 11% and the Middle East with 10%.
