A key technology partner of Modula, System Electronics has developed a new project designed to improve control of vertical warehouse operations.

Modula, the smart factory owned by Franco Stefani which in July acquired a 60% stake in the Bologna-based firm MB, reported strong growth in 2019.

Modula South East will work alongside the Chinese facility in providing sales and technical support to the Asian market.

The group led by Franco Stefani has ended 2016 with a consolidated turnover of 440 million euros (up 18% following 15% growth in 2015).

The company has adopted the Modula Lift automatic warehouse for storage of spare parts and materials required for the construction of its machines.

A new Modula vertical warehouse will start up in March to improve efficiency in shipment and after-sales.

The 20 managers of System’s overseas branches met in Fiorano to discuss the group’s growth strategies. Consolidated turnover is expected to rise by 15% in 2015 to reach 440 million euros.
