The Rumanian tableware manufacturer has started up a new Sacmi spray-dryer ATM18 that will allow to carry out part of their spray-dried powder production vertically and to completely recycle scrap and waste within the line.
The Civita Castellana-based sanitaryware and tableware machinery manufacturer has seen its revenues surpass pre-pandemic levels this year and is expecting further growth in 2023.
SACMI will be a key player at Ceramitec 2022 (Munich Trade Fair, 21-24 June) with its benchmark technologies for the Tableware industry, as well as for Powder Metal, Hard Metal, Refractories, Technical Ceramics, industrial kilns.
In the first nine months of 2021, the German group’s consolidated revenue reached €684.5 million, up 24.7% on 2020. Forecasts for the end-of-year 2021 results are for €920 million
Meant as a complimentary gift to customers to support the development of know-how inside the companies, the publication completes Sacmi’s series of technical manuals which comprises the handbooks on Tiles & Sanitaryware
The sanitaryware, tableware and refractory sectors experienced a sharp decline in both production volumes and turnover in 2020. The brick and roof tile sector proved more resilient.
