Calibrating machines from Simec Spa

The F Series line of calibrating machines from Simec Spa of Castello di Godevo (province of Treviso) is based on meticulous design and extensive testing.

The F Series models can be equipped with a variable number of C3 calibrating units according to the desired production capacity.

A control system measures the thickness of the incoming material and automatically adjusts the height of the calibrators in order to optimise the material removed for each slab or tile being processed.

Once the spindles have been positioned, a second control level checks the power absorbed by each spindle. If the level set by the operator is exceeded, the machine automatically regulates the belt and spindle bridge speed.

Main advantages of the F Series:

- lower investment costs because the working lines are shorter than conventional ones for the same level of productivity;

- the surface finish is finely smoothed, so fewer additional smoothing heads are required, thereby lowering the smoothing cost;

- range of models for calibrating from 300 to 2200 mm.
