Ecsit from Sacmi Whiteware

The unique EcsitTM system can simulate the hydrodynamic performance of a complete WC. It provides a detailed analysis of the transitory movement created in the cistern-pipe-rim-bowl-well-siphon-drain system from the moment at which the cistern opening mechanism introduces flushing water into the pipe, rim and bowl through to the time when the water is discharged into the waste pipe.

EcsitTM provides information on the water flow and pressure generated at all times and at all points in the system. This applies both to points inside the volume involved in the calculation and those that lie on the edge surfaces, i.e. the surfaces of the sanitary unit in contact with flushing water.

It can be used with any geometrical configuration of WC, but is particularly suitable for American-type pull-down models.
In this case, by simulating the precise quantity of water to be used, the system can provide useful information on the minimum quantity needed to correctly trigger flushing for a specific siphon geometry.

Furthermore, for an increasingly accurate simulation of the flowrate and distribution of water entering the bowl, it is also possible to incorporate into the mathematical model the representation of the cistern flush opening system.
This includes not only the geometry but also an analysis of the motion of all constituent parts.

The success of a sanitary article often depends on the time needed to develop it. EcsitTM provides sound specifications based on concrete information, not empirical reasoning.
This makes for precise and rapid development of the equipment required to manufacture the final product, drastically reducing the number of trials normally needed to achieve optimum performance of a WC bowl and reducing the time and cost needed for its development.
