Focus on Drying & Firing - Setec: shuttle dryers with independent parallel channels

Setec is presenting shuttle dryers on which the drying chamber is divided into two independent parallel channels, each equipped with its own thermoventilation system.

The hot air required is produced by airflow burners connected directly to centrifugal delivery fans. The hot air is introduced by means of a system of ducts suitably equipped with flow regulation systems. The moist air is removed through two central ducts.

Drying curve control can be performed either manually by means of gate valves or automatically by means of servo-controlled valves and computerised system management.

The temperature and relative humidity control instruments are governed from the electrical master panel. The drying cycle lasts from 8 to 16 hours.
